  • How far in advance do I need to place my order?

    As of now, orders within New York City, Jersey City, and Hoboken must be placed 48 hours in advance of the requested delivery date/time.

    Orders from elsewhere must be placed 5 days in advance of the requested delivery date/time.

  • Do your kits include any perishable items?

    All items in our standard, shippable kits are non-perishable - which means you can order ahead of time and nothing will spoil!

    For customers based in the New York Metro area, we offer cheese add-ons through Saxelby’s Cheese and sweet and savory cookie add-ons through The Rounds. Please reach out to hello@hostwithjoy.com if you are interested in adding these to your order.

  • What are the substitution options for allergies and dietary restrictions?

    We offer gluten-free crackers and nut-free/dairy-free options such as popcorn, crunchy corn, and olives.

  • Do you ship?

    Yes! We ship our kits nationally within the 48 contiguous states.

  • Is delivery included?

    We offer a flat shipping rate of $10 for all orders.

  • Can I pick-up my kit if I want to avoid the delivery fee?

    Yes! You can pick-up your kit for free. Kits will be available for pick-up in the lobby of 555 W. 23rd Street (between 10th and 11th Avenues).

  • Do your kits include alcohol?

    Our cocktail mixers are alcohol-free, which means you and your guests can ‘choose your own adventure’ - be it to enjoy as a mocktail or to enjoy with your preferred liquor of choice.

  • How many guests do your kits serve?

    Our kits serve between 8-16 guests. For larger parties, contact us here.
